SURAP Plugin for Autodesk® Revit®

Element family

Make sure that the building elements are assigned to the correct families. Autodesk Revit offers building element families such as wall, roof, ceiling (for more information, see the Autodesk® Revit® documentation). When importing models from other programs into Revit®, pay particular attention to the family assignment.

Element functions

In order for SURAP to recognize exterior or interior walls as such, the "Interior" or "Exterior" function must be set in the type properties of the component (see illustration below).

Element layers

The name of the material layers is read out in SURAP. The material name should represent the material for the correct assignment of the LCA data

Building area

Check the values for the gross floor area in the SURAP project settings. You can adjust the area in the design settings if necessary.
